Patients can receive all their primary and specialty medical services and standard tests under one roof. We also offer the services of other health care professionals including midwives, health educators, social workers, nutritionists and physician assistants. From X-rays to stress tests, from eye exams to mammograms, our centers have it covered. With Preferred Health Partners, there is no need to frequently travel to other offices to schedule services and tests.

By its very nature, center-based care is better coordinated medical care. Your physician can easily consult with your specialist, whose office is right down the hall. Your complete medical record, which contains the information vital to your proper care, is always available for review. Over the years,we have earned our patients loyalty to our medical centers, our physicians, and our staff – in short, to our system of providing healthcare. Our physicians are not just names in a provider directory and our patients have never been just names on a referral slip.

Our medical equipment and technology systems are first-rate and up-to-date. We emphasize primary care, patient education and preventive medicine, but we are fully capable of providing sophisticated, diverse specialty care when necessary. Our physicians are highly trained and affiliated with the top hospitals in the area. We are proud of our history and that our healthcare delivery system remains in the forefront in serving the needs of our community.

Frequently Asked Questions

How Do I Make An Appointment?
Simply call the Center Appointment Desk to schedule your appointment.

How Do I Cancel An Appointment?
If you are unable to keep your appointment please call our Appointment Desk. If possible, we ask you to call at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Your appointment can be rescheduled when you call.

What Do I Do In Case Of An Emergency?
If you have a life-threatening emergency please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Soon after receiving emergency care, you or someone on your behalf should notify your Primary Care Physician.

In the event of a non-life-threatening emergency (such as a simple fracture, sore throat, fever, upset stomach, etc.) please contact your Primary Care Physician’s office for further assistance. This assistance may include a same-day appointment or referral to a PHP after-hours urgent care location.

If it is a non-life-threatening emergency and you wish to go directly to a hospital emergency room for care, we recommend that you go to one of our affiliated hospitals, where your care can be better coordinated by a PHP Hospitalist.

If the emergency occurs when the Center is closed, call 718-240-2000 and follow the directions for emergency calls. Your call will be routed to your Primary Care Physician or to a covering physician.
