CSQUARE Golf came to us back in November to help them market their innovative, and patented AngleVision golf training ball. The ball has a unique flat side, which helps make it possible to create every angle and help see every shot before it's hit- giving you the precision for a repeatable swing. This product was unique in the golf industry, and something that was never seen before. How were we going to market this? CSQUARE Golf wanted to launch this AngleVision golf ball at a Tradeshow in early January, so we had a tight timeline for getting everything in place, from logo, to web, to packaging and promotional items.

Starting with the logo design, we developed a brand that could be carried through the rest of their marketing materials. We then moved onto package design where our goal was to make sure that the package would stand out when on a shelf, and attract prospective buyers to it. Brochures, websites and trade show booth followed, utilizing the same design elements of their branding.

CSQUARE made a large impact on the golf industry at their product launch in early January. They've created a lot of buzz about what it can do, and we look forward to hearing more of their successes throughout 2010.

Recently we've been recommending our clients to join the Social Marketing phenomenon. Why? Because it can become extremely advantageous to their business. TRANSPARENCY: Transparency means we as customers like to feel that the companies we use want us to know what is going on with them, and that they aren't keeping any secrets. This gives us a comfort in working with them, and gives the company more fans and a positive viewpoint.

RELEVANCE: Relevance refers to giving your clients what they want. The first step to succeeding in this is asking them what they want. The next step is implementing their feedback into your marketing. The media landscape today is fragmented (and so is your client base), so learn who they are, and what they are looking for. It may be more upfront work, but it will be beneficial in the long run.

REVENUE: In making sure that you are Transparent in the marketplace and relevant in your message, you must also see revenue. If you aren't seeing revenue, you are doing something wrong. Remember, 90% of first time communication comes from written word. So hire a copywriter or take a class, because on average you only have 2.7 seconds to gain a new client.

TOP OF MIND: Finally, what we think Social Marketing does more than anything is help you to stay at the "Top of (your client's) Mind." If you are consistent with sending out a message to your clients- whether it is through Facebook, your Blog or an Email Newsletter- you are helping keep you (and your company) at the front of their mind. So, when they do need you for something, they immediately know who to call. On average we talk to 1% of our network- and that is what we expect.
