Tom Scandaliato : Marketing Manager

» What does he do at GDS?

Key Stats!

  • Ran the marketing department of a Fortune 500 for 10 years
  • Has extensive experience in sales, advertising and public relations

As a Marketing Manager, Tom wears many hats at Graphic D-Signs. He is mainly responsible for new business, maintaining existing business ,and making sure our clients are not only happy with the work that we do for them, but are also seeing positive results. Tom works as an outside consultant for GDS, working for our clients who need a high level marketing and advertising

Tom works closely with our design team to ensure that what we send to our clients captures the objective we are all looking for.

» What's is his background?

Tom has an extensive and diverse marketing, advertising, sales promotion and public relations background. In 2003 he produced an award winning advertising campaign which included television, radio, direct mail and print promotion, not to mention a catchy Jingle!

The "Now That's HIP" advertising campaign had both branding and product selling components, and both were extremely successful. He is a firm believer that products should act as proof points to a client's brand advertising program-thereby making every "brand" ad also a product ad, and every "product" ad a "brand" ad.

» What accomplishments are you most proud of?

I’m most proud of watching my grown sons turn into Men.

I ran a Communications Department for a Fortune 500 Company for 10 years before coming to GDS in 2006. I really got tired of working in all the bureaucracy and just wanted to be part of something great and enjoy myself at the same time.

» What do you do when you're not designing brilliant websites?

This answer is sure different than it was 15 years ago. My greatest pleasure is spending time with my wife and kids; I enjoy playing softball (although now I’m in the 40 and over league), writing and playing music with friends, and working on the house.
