» What do you do at GDS?
Responsibilities include all duties relating to office management. On a daily basis my duties include but are not limited to billing, collections, payroll, and record keeping.
There is also an element of marketing in keeping track of new business leads by providing sales brochures to new potential clients.
» What are you most proud of about your job?
I'm proud to have been part of this company from nearly its inception, and watching the way in which the business has grown. I remember when it was only myself and Dan in the company, and then year after year it kept getting bigger and bigger. So, as the company has grown, so has my responsibilities (and hours!). The work that the team creates here is fun to see - and it's also rewarding to see the success GDS has for our clients.
» What's your background?
I have been in the secretarial/clerical support field for many years working for a NYC Healthcare Agency for 20 years as a Senior Executive Secretary to the Executive Director of a 304 bed skilled nursing facility. A few years before that I was a customer service representative for Allstate Insurance Company. I have worked at Graphic D-Signs since 1998 and enjoy working with the creative design team at the company.
