Brianna Scott: Design & Marketing Strategist
» What do you do at GDS?
I work with clients to understand their design and marketing needs and them implement strategies for them to get the most out of their budget. This includes conceptualizing how their website and print pieces will help them gain more business. We work together to put all the pieces of their marketing puzzle together by supplementing what they already have with new and different ways, whether it be with email marketing, social networking, SEO work and/or promotional products. I also work on keeping Graphic D-Signs website up-to-date (which is hard with all the work we do!), get our email newsletters out, and work on keeping up with the industry so that ours, and our clients marketing is always one step ahead of the competition.
» What's your background? How did you get into this racket?
Growing up, I was always interested in art and design. I started taking art classes after school and when I reached High School I filled all my electives with art classes. So, when I went to college I thought Advertising would be a great field for me. However, after one graphics class I knew I wanted to be on the design side, so I switched my concentration from Advertising to Digital Media and I've never looked back.
» What type of projects are your favorite?
My favorite types of projects are those on the web. From working with clients on what they envision to carrying it out through various media, I enjoy combining good SEO friendly design with social & email marketing techniques to help our clients take the next step in their business.
» What do you do when you're not at work?
When I'm not at GDS you could probably find me with my family and friends whether it is in NYC, watching a Giant's game or volunteering. I enjoy scrapbooking, cooking, decorating and I especially love traveling!
