What do you do at GDS?
I’m a jack-of-all-trades, from working on logo and stationary design to managing accounts. When managing accounts, I make sure that each client’s advertising goals and expectations are met with all executions and deliverables. I also assist in coding, programming, and inputting information for the sites we create at GDS.
What's your background? How did you get into this racket?
I am a creative person who enjoys making people happy. After taking a variety of artistically oriented classes in college, I soon found my passion in graphic design. I enjoy the way graphic design forces me to utilize my creative, communication, and problem solving skills in order to produce the best possible work. I love the actual process of design work, which I like to think of as the transformation of an abstract idea into something that is tangible and visible.
What types of projects are your favorite?
My favorite portfolio piece that GDS has created is TerraCare. The package is extremely professional and fitting for the company. Everything from the logo to the stationary is designed beautifully. The website’s colors and fonts somehow convey the idea of an open, welcoming environment. I am very excited to work on projects like this from start to finish alongside such talented individual designers.
What accomplishments are you most proud of?
I am often very hesitant when I try an innovative style of oil painting. I am most proud of myself when I tackle my fears and begin painting for myself and in a carefree manner.
I am also extremely proud of raising my dogs into loving, playful animals!
What do you do when you're not at work?
I am new to New Jersey and ready to explore! I cannot wait to become more familiar with the Shore and various cities throughout the tri state area. I enjoy playing with my dogs, hiking, exercising, painting and discovering new music! I am easily amused and love keeping myself occupied.
